Monty uses generative AI to help you explore energy-market information. Because this is a beta, please note:

Monty can give inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated answers.

Monty's answers are not trading, financial, or professional advice.

Check important information against authoritative sources, including the underlying market data, before you act on it.

You are responsible for how you use Monty's answers.

Use Monty's answers for your own work only. Don't share or resell them outside your organisation.

Do not type confidential, personal, or sensitive information into Monty. If you do, that is your responsibility.

Your messages go to a third-party AI provider to generate answers, and are logged on Montel's servers.

During the beta, Montel reviews questions and answers to improve Monty's quality and fix errors.

Deleting a chat does not delete those logs. Logs are kept for 60 days. To have your Monty data deleted, contact [contact/route – to be confirmed].

Your use of Monty is subject to your organisation's agreement with Montel and to Montel's Privacy Notice. This notice adds to them and does not change them. It does not reduce Montel's own duties under data-protection law.
