How do we use your personal data

How we share your personal data
We may disclose your personal data to the following categories of recipients, to the extent necessary for the purposes mentioned above:
To other companies within the Group to the extent necessary for internal administrative purposes

To our event partners and co-organizers for the purpose of organizing and managing events, including sharing lists of attendees (limited to name, position and company). We have assessed that this processing is necessary and proportionate to facilitate professional networking at our events and does not unduly affect your privacy rights. Transfer of personal data outside the EEA
We may transfer your personal data outside the EEA in certain situations, as some of our suppliers (or sub-suppliers) and business partners are located in such countries. We will ensure that your data is secured by adopting appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy (such as EU's Standard Contractual Clauses). How long do we keep your personal data
We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which we collect them and in accordance with our internal retention guidelines. The table below sets out the typical retention period applicable to certain categories of personal data that we process.
It is important to emphasize that special situations may lead to longer or shorter retention periods than the ones described below. We will in any case retain information as long as required subject to legal requirements, and in case special needs arise, e.g. by complaints or claims made against us or by us.

Third parties and social media
We have pages on social media where we provide information about our services and interact with the users, i.e. LinkedIn. On such social media pages, we may receive anonymised insight, such as statistics about age, sex and location of our users. We may also receive information that you decide to share with us, such as chat, comments and likes. Your experience on the social media sites will be governed by the privacy and other policies of those sites. As we are joint controllers with the social media for data processed from your use of social media tools or links on our site, and for aggregated insight that we get from your use of our pages on social media, you may also contact us if you would like to have more information, or if you want to exercise your privacy rights. However, please note that we may not be able to respond to all request, and that we may have to refer you to the social media for further information.
