Who are you and what does your business do?

My name is Alexander Kloos, and I’ve been working in energy trading since 2005. At Allgäuer Überlandwerke (AÜW), I’m responsible for portfolio and balancing group management, and I actively trade as well.
AÜW is a regional energy supplier based in southern Germany. We operate in power and gas trading, supply around 100,000 customers, and are continuously expanding renewable generation.
